Summary / Abstract (Note)The agent Stombaugh was supposed to meet was named Adolf Tolkachev. Tolkachev was, or claimed to be, a senior designer employed at a secret defense facility, the Scientific Research Institute for Radio Engineering, which developed radars for military aircraft.
