| Summary / Abstract (Note) | Eurasian Economic Union which was set up on 1st January 2015 has emerged as a major regional organization comprising of five states namely Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. Looking back, credit should be given to the president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev who in 1994 suggested the idea of creating a “Eurasian Union” during his speech at Moscow State University. |
