Summary / Abstract (Note)India and China are two of the oldest known civilisation of the world with rich legacy of bilateral interactions in multilateral level. Harmony and tolerance prevailed between Indo-China relations until the occupation of Tibet by China in 1950.The geographical location of Tibet makes it a buffer zone between the territorial interests of India and China.
