Summary / Abstract (Note)The article examines the dynamic branch and territorial structures of foreign investments in the PRC and shows the main lines of investment flows from abroad. The analysis given demonstrates that the branch structure of foreign investments constantly changes due to the investment policy of the PRC leadership. Throughout the entire period of reforms foreign investments have been channeled either to the cities with provincial status - Shanghai and Beijing, or the most developed seashore regions (Guangdong, Jiangsu), which remained unchanged during the period of their realization.
