Title ProperEvolving Pyongyang-Washington détente and the Korean Peninsula
LanguageENG
AuthorTripathi, Sudhanshu
Summary / Abstract (Note)While the hope remains that things will be different in Korean Peninsula after the Singapore Summit, the reality is that it’s better not to raise hopes too high to become disappointed in any unforeseen eventuality. In the present scenario it seems that both Pyongyang and Seoul too have realized the absolute futility of their continuing hostility and legacy of perpetuating conflict. Hence, they appear to be coming together with a view to establish peace, prosperity and security of not only their own countrymen but also of the peace-loving humanity all over the world.
