Title ProperChina and Pakistan – A Geopolitical Tango like Never Before!
LanguageENG
AuthorNarayanan, Raviprasad
Summary / Abstract (Note)China and Pakistan relations are at their strongest today reflecting many facets, some known and some evolving. Known facets are the following – China’s increasing leverage in Pakistan, Pakistan’s admiration for being considered a ballast to the ‘One Road One Belt’ initiative from China, China’s ploughing ahead in a region where ‘norms’ are unknown, Pakistan’s adroit shift in cultivating the superpowers over decades with the United States being supplanted by China, and, the relative weak response from India to the changing strategic tectonics in the region.
