Summary / Abstract (Note)The Cook Islands is a nation, a people, small enough to make bold decisions quickly, agile enough to accept the need to take calculated risks and push boundaries, ready to solidify opportunities beyond a single industry-based economy and with a leadership very committed to do so. It has developed, off the coat-tails of Covid, its first Economic Development Strategy - a ten-year plan consolidating its shared vision and approach towards a more sustainable future. Its five key objectives are improving equity and access for all, transforming the economy, developing the people and culture, investing in the outer islands and greening the economy.
