Summary / Abstract (Note)Freshwater, the most important of all-natural resources, has emerged as a key source of conflict in various parts of the world. Accessing freshwater and equitable sharing is a major concern for world communities. Water conflicts and intrastate hydro politics over the Trans Boundary River would adversely affect and shape world politics in the twenty-first century. The Brahmaputra basin is the world’s most populated region.
