It focuses particularly on the struggle for independence led by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, seen as the founder of the nation, the development of parties, extremism, the coups and counter-coups suffered by the country and the long-term impact these have had on the democratic process and civil society, and also the country's prospects for the future. |
