Title ProperDoing business with Russia
LanguageENG
AuthorMcGhie, Gerald ;  Stuart Prior; Gerald McGhie ;  Prior, Stuart
Summary / Abstract (Note)Engaging with Russia would help make changes critical for New Zealand's future. What happens in and to Russia during the next 30 years and more will help shape the international response to climate change. New Zealand is well-positioned to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with Russia, particularly in agriculture, forestry and fisheries. Co-operation with Russia, as well as with other countries, has a key role in Antarctica and the Southern Ocean. There is potential for trade with Russia to return to a level similar to, or better than, earlier trade with the Soviet Union.
