Summary / Abstract (Note)This article is concerned with innovative and structural transformations of the Military-Industrial Complex (MIC) of the PRC and their connection with the process of civil-military integration aimed at creating an innovative system of science and technology in the country, combining military and civilian resources to increase the capacity of the MIC to produce high-tech weapons and next generation military equipment, and at the same time, bring innovative changes to the civilian sector of the economy. In the author's view, there is a trend to increase R&D funding in the PRC, as well as to take measures to use artificial intelligence to achieve the designated goals.
