Summary / Abstract (Note) | The 21st century is witnessing a substantial re-engagement of India and Africa. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi undertook a state visit to three African countries (Rwanda, Uganda, and South Africa) in 2018, and concluded his tour by attending a two-day summit in Johannesburg with the other BRICS countries: Brazil, Russia, China, and South Africa. During this tour he has also unfolded Ten Guiding Principles for India-Africa relations. |
