LanguageENG
AuthorStepanov, Nikita
Summary / Abstract (Note)The research in this paper substantiates the significance and potential of SCO and BRICS member states as groups of countries; determines the conditions for creating a supranational currency within the SCO and BRICS under the influence of trade and sanctions restrictions; and formulates the advantages and disadvantages in several areas of the transformation of the global financial system. The BRICS countries account for more than 40% of the world's population and almost 30% of global GDP, and have great potential in all areas of economic activity. At the same time, the dominance of the US dollar allows the US economy to influence the world through America's monetary policy and strengthens America's position in the global economy.
