| Summary / Abstract (Note) | At the conclusion it should be said that climate change and global warming is a major problem for the world community today. It has become a major concern. In spite of increasingly dire warnings from scientists that cooperative action is urgently needed, nearly two decades have gone by with the human species producing only a very weak and partial agreement. (Parks, and Roberts, 2010). Under the circumstances, it needs to be addressed with utmost care, otherwise the whole world has to face serious consequences. Failure in this regard will definitely be a bane for us.After a dismal COP27 last year in Egypt, the UAE started well. It hired a clutch of western climate experts and consultants to work on COP28. |
