Chakrabarty, Manas Journal Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has declared that the Presidency will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented and decisive in the direction of making it a ‘People’s G20’ for a post-pandemic world. In spite of some of the limitations, the founding of the G20 definitely signifies an end to the era when developed countries dominated global economic governance. It is expected that by raising their voices and building on their influence, emerging economies, the BRICS in particular, will be able to steer world economy. India’s presidency would surely give a new direction to the G 20 for ultimate betterment of the world community.
