It may be stated as elaborated above, cultural and civilization linkages that originated in ancient times between India and South East Asian countries have been retained and enhanced in contemporary era. India has undertaken geo-strategic policy initiatives to strengthen political and economic relations with South East Asia and ASEAN which will make India and ASEAN as economic power house in the world. Hence there are good geo-economic and geo-political prospects in the years to come.
