Publication 2009.
Summary/Abstract Modernisation and development are the processes of evolution. Made in India: a look at some of the defence aviation products already manufactured by Indian private companies / Mekala, Dilip Kumar   Article
Mekala, Dilip Kumar Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract This edition of Aero India 2015 was all about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’. The government has given private companies a level playing field in defence manufacturing, which until now was biased towards the public sector units. However, despite the partnerships with the foreign companies, it is unlikely that these private companies could manufacture high technology products in the near term, especially in the aerospace sector. The Indian industry must emphasise on research and development within the country to realise the ‘Make in India’ dream.

On the detection of decoy aerial targets / Mitrofanov, D.G. ; Bortovik, V.V. ; Kovynev, A.V.   Journal Article
D.G. MITROFANOV, A.V. KOVYNEV, V.V. BORTOVIK Journal Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract The detection of decoy targets ensures the reliability of data received by radar about the real situation, which makes it possible to optimize decisions on target engagement. The use of decoy target identification information makes it possible to increase the efficiency of airspace control, establish the most appropriate level of readiness of surface-to-air missile systems, and significantly reduce the number of combat sorties of aircraft to assess the losses inflicted on the adversary.
