Demography and terrorist threats : seeking the sources of global evil in global problems / Vishnevsky, Anatoly   Journal Article
Vishnevsky, Anatoly Journal Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract Someone may find the idea strange of a link between demography and terrorism. Is this plausible or is it far-fetched? The meaning of my reflections is that the demographic component of what we now call international terrorism (although I am not sure that this is an accurate definition of what is happening today) is very important, yet I certainly do not mean to assert that only demographic events and processes fuel terrorism. Nevertheless, understanding the essence of global demographic processes has made it possible to foresee the present growth of terrorist threats long before they became a stark reality of our world today.
