Shourya and Sagarika is a new common missile that can be launched from multiple platform, ie.ground, submarine and mobile laucher. The naval version is called Sagarika, while the land base version is called Shourya. The Indian doctrine of minimum credible nuclear defence envisages "no first use" (NFU) policy and a triad of nuclear counterstrike capability.
