Summary/Abstract |
The authors look at the historical experience of the national system for training and educating service personnel and compare it with the way the U.S. military leadership addresses this issue. They examine the prominent Russian military commanders' principles of troop education and compare them with the U.S. military authorities' approach to the issue. The paper pioneers analysis of the educational aspects of the U.S. army statutes in the context of nurturing active, responsible, and resourceful soldiers.
