Summary/Abstract NOVEMBER 2021 marks the 10-year anniversary of the decision to establish the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).1 A month before this landmark event, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an article in the newspaper Izvestia, described the Eurasian integration project as a "milestone not only for our three countries, but for all countries in the post-Soviet space" [3]. That idea was put into practice: Armenia and Kyrgyzstan joined the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) as full-fledged members in 2015, Moldova received EAEU observer status in 2018, and Uzbekistan did in 2020.
