Summary/Abstract |
The article examines techniques for calculating the firepower of units and formations in combined-arms fighting. It outlines the methods of assessing the potential of the control system, reconnaissance means and training standards of commanders, staffs and units as factors in the total firepower of combined-arms units. It also takes into account the effect of enemy defensive facilities and combating enemy radio-electronic communications. Finally, it formulates a method for optimizing the choice of priorities in destruction by firepower.
