We present highlights of the 11th Trilateral Conference of Scholars from Russia, India, and China, held in Beijing on November 15-16, 2011. The viability of the Russia-China-India format is emphasized, and new spheres and forms of increasing trilateral cooperation are listed.

The author gives his view on the specifics of the current stage in the sectoral dialogue developing between Russia, India, and China through tripartite cooperation in practical areas such as business and economics. He analyzes further advance in RIC sectoral interaction against the background of processes evolving in other similar international formats, above all in IB SA - India, Brazil, and South Africa.

The author reviews the short history, role, and significance of the forums drawing scholars in international affairs from Russia, India, and China every year to discuss the various aspects of cooperation between the three countries on the world stage in the economy and other fields. He makes a detailed analysis of the outcome of the 10th Academic Conference of the RIC countries in Moscow that opened a fourth round of such meetings. The article contains a summary of the conferees' principal suggestion and scientific conclusions they reached to give impetus to tripartite cooperation in the future.
