Summary/Abstract The Chicago summit in the May 2012 has raised high expectation for a reinforced relation between NATO and industry. The reason is clear: NATO has to adapt to a fast changing strategic and Economic context. By demonstrating its innovation and creativity for better solutions, industry can add tremendous value. Its an essential condition for delivering the needed capabilities. NATO Secretary General Rasmussen underlined this idea with the Connected Forces Indicatives (CFI). It is call for us to work together in a truly connected way through expended education and training, increase coalition exercises and the better use of technology, which offers a key means to facilitated the ability of forces to work together.

Summary/Abstract As the only permanent NATO Headquarters outside Europe, Allied Command Transformation (ACT) contributes to the close transatlantic cohesion between Europe and North America. Being located on US soil, and with strong links to US entities, ACT is well placed to lead NATO's transformation, and to ensure that the Alliance continues to be fit to tackle the security challenges of today and the future.
