Military security forces are protecting their permanent and expeditionary (forward) based against and increasing number of treats. Natural disasters, industrial accidents infectious diseases (notable potential pandemics), overt and / or hostile acts, and criminal activity are among the traditional challenges that may give force commanders sleepless nights. Most recently, the evolving cyber threat and the advancing technological developments of potential adversaries have been added to the expanding threat list for military installations.
