| Summary/Abstract |
Israel provides key capabilities, across the spectrum of conflict. The nature and duration of Israel's domestic and external security challenges has created a strong, indegenous and independent defence sector unusually well adapted to meeting the needs of conventional militrary forces against peer competitors, as well as those of homeland security without creating an artificial barrier between the two. Equally the modest domestic defence budget has, fromthe very start obliged those same companies to address international markets as a priority in order to ensure their commercial survival.

The article presents information on Israel Defense Forces. The military forces consist of the ground forces, Air Force and Navy. The ground forces' strength is working toward balance, combination, and coordination between the ground corps. It is stated that Israel's top brass has moved to strengthen the C4I directorate through its expanded mission responsibility.

| Summary/Abstract |
The use of tactical unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) is increasing with growing threat perceptions. New UAVs are being used in operations and more advanced designs are on the drawing board. Although the Indian Air Force (IAF) uses several unmanned platforms for surveillance operations, it lacks the strength in tactical UAVs, especially when it comes to precision strike capabilities. For a long time, there was a proposal for the IAF to purchase Harop Loitering Munitions System from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). The proposal has been delayed for years now, and with the new government's dedication to speed up the slow pace of IAF modernisation, the procurement seems to be coming of age.
