Summary/Abstract |
The authors examine the combat use of tactical mini UAVs, the most common and plentiful type of unmanned aerial vehicles in the inventories of leading foreign countries' armed forces. They discuss detection of the aerial adversary's mini UAVs by relying on existing reconnaissance capabilities, and put forward their method of detection by setting up a multifunctional radar station based on a circular digital active antenna array capable of adaptively surveying the airspace.
