Summary/Abstract Iran has often come forward to become an energy provider both for the Mediterranean (Turkey, Greece and Europe now dealing with new gas routes scenario) and for the Eastern Asian countries like Pakistan and India or Kazakhstan with which Iran is starting a cooperation on petrochemicals, oil and gas. Although its geographic position allows Iran to think big, conquering the Western countries' trust won't be easy. Let's consider for example the reduction of oil exportations in the first few months of 2014 following restrictions linked to the agreement on the easing of sanctions.

Iran-Israel sociopolitical conflict: turmoil beyond uncertainty / Sahoo, Rasmita   Article
Sahoo, Rasmita Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract Iran-Israel relations have lifted from close ties between Iran and Israel during the phase of the Pahlavi dynasty to hostility since the Revolution and ending of Gulf war. The most contentious issue of the Iranian-Israeli conflict is Iran’s nuclear project. The Israeli fear of an Iranian version of a “final solution” might push Israel to launch a preemptive strike against Iran. However, just one blow might not be enough, considering the various measures Iran implemented in order to protect her nuclear setup. Israel should therefore be ready for a long struggle, in which the rear of both sides would be hit. Israel could be part of a vast anti-Iranian coalition, including Arab states that are also on alert, fearing Iran’s ambitions, particularly after losing Iraq as their shield.

Summary/Abstract In a nutshell, within the constraints of democratic politics and the relatively ‘soft’ nature of the economic reforms implemented since 1991 or post liberalization, the Indian economy has reaped several welcome rewards from its reforms. These have strengthened the assurance that the broad direction of the reforms is right and, in that sense, made the reform process irreparable. Indian economy scenario pre and post 1991 has a poles apart, infact there is a huge dichotomy can be seen literally.

Publication 2013.
Summary/Abstract Apparently, in the existing global scenario of multilateralism and rapid transformation of the structural identity of nations, regional or sub-regional groupings are no longer a matter of selection, but the need of the hour. In addition to this, the swift advancement of communication facilities, shortening of distance and transforming of borders into gateways is the new occurrence everywhere. In the last decade, India has exposed dedicated attention in the formation of sub-regional alignments. Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) is a prominent example of it.
