Patria unveiled a new 8x8 vehicle called the new vehicle concept at the DSEi exhibition in September 2013. At the point, the vehicle had only just completed its initial company shakedown trails, but fast forward July 2014 and the vehicle has been renamed AMVXP the superscript applying to extra performance, extra payload and extra protection and has clocked up well over 7,500 Km of trails, the majority being cross country.
