2012.
Summary/Abstract
Consummate performer. Entertaining raconteur. Master of deflection. The deputy director general of Rosoboronexport, Victor M. Komardin is all of this and much more. To start with, he has to be a very successful salesman, to have retained his job for 13 years. In a country like Russia, where appointments and dismissals are at the pleasure of the executive, Komardin's achievement is no mean feat and deserves applause even from the most ungenerous and sceptical journalists.

Summary/Abstract
Seldom we find two countries in the annals of history whose relationship is bound by the depth of enormous cordiality as India and Russia. What began as a momentous journey of a merchant from the Russian city of Tver in 1466 remained etched in the sterling fundamentals it laid of bilateralism. Those were the years of a different India:Moghul empire was on its dying days. Vasco da Gama was yet to reach India only in 1498; the British empire was essaying to foray into Indian market.

Summary/Abstract
Indian foreign policy is facing a new challenge at a time of global flux. India has been engaging constructively with the West; put precisely the US and its allies Europe, Japan and Australia, at the cost of its ties with Russia and China. America’s relations with Russia and China are passing through the worst phase in the post-cold war world era.
