his paper looks at the instruments of US foreign policy in the Middle East and shows the distinctive features of their practical implementation with regard to various Middle Eastern countries, including Egypt, Iran, and Syria. It calls attention to the growing role of US militarypower instruments in the region and assesses their efficiency and chances of restricting and countering them in the short term.
