Contemporary world is more willing to believe in scientific acts based on logical reasoning. The growth in scientific temperament among individuals has severely undermined the role of religion in life of individual and society. On the one hand religion demands unquestionable obligation of human beings and on the other hand, people still continues to believe in “luck or Kismat”. Large numbers of people despite of their scientific values continue to believe in the power of unseen forces. So, there still continues to be an overlapping between science and religion and the values attached to it.

Summary/Abstract The unprecedented devastation, both in terms of men and material, has brought the Syrian crisis into prominence into international politics of world order. The crisis has sucked in the Syrian citizens as rebels and as victims; the nation-states of West Asian region; the dreaded terrorist organizations of the world; ethnic community like Kurds; withal the major powers of the world. Needless to mention that each of the parties involved have their own vested interests, enough to transform Syria into a battle-field at the cost of life of men, modesty of women, and future of children. Involvement of too many actors has made the crisis so complex that peace seems to be a far cry.

Summary/Abstract slamist radical group who has reduced the real meaning of Islam by picking out whatever suits their political purposes, cast these in sacred terms and invest them with religious legitimacy. This has reduced Islam to a penal code, stripping of its intellectual legacy particularly humanism, aesthetics, intellectual quests and spiritual deviation. As ideologue such as fascism and Nazism has faded similarly the radical element of Islamism will soon fade out. This is because they have the very limited and political agenda.
