Summarily then, taking stock of the emerging dynamics of strategic relations between the two countries, it is becoming increasingly evident that Indo-Japan ties have assumed a niche in India’s ‘Act East’ policy architecture. The Government of India’s initiatives are being amply acknowledged and reciprocated by the able and pragmatic Japanese Premier, Shinzo Abe, who is keen on pursuing and sustaining its momentum.
