The European direction of the PRC's foreign policy, after a period of cooling down in the latter half of the first decade of this century, is becoming important for Beijing today. The PRC's comprehensive strategic partnership with the European Union is one of the spheres of China's foreign policy activity in Europe. This author makes an attempt to describe various forms of China's cooperation with European countries.
