Summary/Abstract he authors describe a new relay system type - an airmobile signal communication network on the basis of unmanned aerial vehicles. This article presents a multicriterion comparative analysis using the method of paired comparisons of well-known mobile relay platforms with a UAV-based airmobile signal communication network for imaginary application and gives a technical image version corresponding to the intended purpose as well as a methodological apparatus for assessing a UAV-based signal communication network efficiency on the basis of risk theory.

Summary/Abstract This paper assesses ways of organizing control of formations of short-range unmanned aerial vehicles (SR UAV) when supporting combat actions by piloted aircraft. The analysis carried out served the basis of devising functional models and the algorithm of organizing hands-on control over UAV formations while preparing and accomplishing combat missions in the interests of formations (units) of operational-tactical and army aviation.
