Summary/Abstract |
Since the nationalization of the Diaoyu Islands by Japan in 2012, mutual trust between China and Japan has been declining, and bilateral security relations have reached a low point. In the near future, China-Japan security relations will face more challenges than opportunities. China should make measures to impose necessary pressure on Japan and to strengthen interpersonal communication and understanding between people of the two countries.

More recently as both traditional and non-traditional security threats bloom, concern spreads over whether international security governance can be effective. Worse still, major Western countries zeal for global governance has cooled, while they turn from being advocates of global governance to abstacles, making the future dimmer.

In Russia, it is calledGerasimovism. Russia adapted the idea of hybrid warfare for its military operations in Ukraine and Syria into a Russian-Style hybrid warfare that has seen successful results so far. This model is likely to impact future military developments.

Summary/Abstract |
American foreign strategy has had strong continuity siince world war II despite defferences among successive presidents. Donald Trump's 2016 presidential campaign revealed ideas and goals for US strategy and strategy adjustment that differ significantly from those of predecessors. the decline in relative gains and rise in cost for US involvement in globalization are reasons for Trump to redirect US foreign strategy. The relative decrease of both US trade and foreign direct investment in the US, amid security threats and the identity crisis of the American people, has tremendously increased the price tag for US involvement in globalization.
