The authors compare the present-day and prospective Ground Forces' Electronic Warfare forces and assets, and clarify the basic elements of their application tactics in a combined arms combat action (operation). It is shown that there are a number of objective prerequisites for the upgrading of the EW forces and their transformation in the short term into an arm of the Ground Forces.
