Summary/Abstract |
Due to global climate change more and countries are focusing on geopolitical and economic aspects of the Arctic. China and Russia are expanding cooperation in the Arctic, taking into account the interests of the polar states. This is based on partial coincidence of interests (research, resources, and transportation routes) and a relatively stable geopolitical environment. Cooperation in the Arctic will contribute to raising the level of comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Russia and will give it new substance.
