Summary/Abstract |
The author examines the potential influence of the Silk Road Economic Belt (SREB) project on the situation in the Central Asian Region (SAR) and adjacent territories in terms of their security and socioeconomic stability. It is noted that along with its political and economic benefits, the One Belt, One Road project and the execution of its SREB subproject is fraught with a number of risks, not only for partner countries but for China itself.
