Summary/Abstract |
he authors describe a new relay system type - an airmobile signal communication network on the basis of unmanned aerial vehicles. This article presents a multicriterion comparative analysis using the method of paired comparisons of well-known mobile relay platforms with a UAV-based airmobile signal communication network for imaginary application and gives a technical image version corresponding to the intended purpose as well as a methodological apparatus for assessing a UAV-based signal communication network efficiency on the basis of risk theory.

Summary/Abstract |
The authors review different issues related to ensuring Russia's military security in aerospace by developing an Early Aerospace Attack Warning System radar field. They show that the base for national aerospace defense is composed of aerospace attack warning, outer space monitoring, antimissile and aerospace defense systems linked by common logic and automated work algorithms. They reveal the Early Aerospace Attack Warning System's structure and the tasks set for its aerospace and ground-based echelons. The authors determine main trends for further buildup and developing Early Aerospace Attack Warning System and Aerospace Defense as a whole.

Summary/Abstract |
The authors offer a methodological approach to assessing and verifying the safety of strategic missile systems (SMS) beyond their warranty life. The approach is based on the application of the developed methodological system of SMS safety principles, indicators, and criteria, and mathematical models of their assessment and forecasting, according to tests and operation results.

Summary/Abstract |
As applied to electronic warfare forces control as an arm of the service, the authors disclose the factors influencing the content of methodological support of substantiating the composition of the EW forces' prospective control body. The standard control body strength substantiation stages are presented, and the specific features of these stages are described in relation to such a control body.

Summary/Abstract |
This paper looks in retrospect at how the theory of struggle for superiority in the air evolved, and highlights the contribution of Giulio Douhet, founder of the modern air warfare teaching, to the development of this theory. It lists the main factors that determine the substance of struggle for superiority in the air, and forecasts the long-term development of the struggle for superiority in aerospace. It also formulates the chief conditions of attaining strategic superiority in the air and suggests indices and criteria for estimating the degree of dominance in the air and in aerospace.
