Summary/Abstract Democracy is the most ideal political construct where everyone is equal owing to the rule of law being the paramount equalizer. The regular manner in which elections to public office are held are tantamount to the functioning of a political system where the voice of the people prevails. Issues motivating people to vote depend on issues domestic and global, with the average constituent aware of the pluses and minuses faced at the individual level.
