Managing India’s neighbourhood have never been easy and remains complicated. However, the enunciation of India’s neighbourhood first policy to a greater extent has led to a quantum shift in India’s foreign policy orientations. It seems that India has finally understood its primary task to ensure an external environment that is conducive to its overall transformation and development.
