‘Civil Society’ today is a sector within itself. Some academicians prefer to call it the ‘Third Sector’ of the state alongside Government (First sector) and the Commerce (Second Sector). It’s presence and role has grown so big that it is next to impossible to quantify the hugeness of the sector.
