V.V. LITVINENKO, V.N. URYUPIN Journal Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract This paper debunks attempts to belittle the combat mastery of the Red Army warriors and the military art of Soviet Army leaders, and to denigrate their activities in Germany. It shows that the Red Army surpassed Wehrmacht not only in terms of fighting skills, but also in terms of humanity toward civilians.

Great victory under fire from falsifiers of history: obsequious myths of the wehrmacht / Litvinenko, V.V; Uryupin, V.N   Journal Article
V.V. LITVINENKO, V.N. URYUPIN Journal Article
0 Rating(s) & 0 Review(s)
Summary/Abstract This paper goes over the most popular myths of the Wehrmacht superiority showing that the widespread belief about the superior martial qualities of its soldiers and the captainship of its generals have been grossly overrated, while their treatment of prisoners of war (POWs) and civilians in occupied territories was nothing short of criminal.
