Russia's turn to the East and South Korea's New Northern Policy seem to imply cooperation between industries for the benefit of both sides. However, the three main areas of economic interaction - investment, trade, and tourism - are not leading to a qualitative development of Russian-Korean relations. Measures to expand cooperation should involve not only solving technical issues, but also working to form joint values, improve the efficiency of institutions and coordinate the work of interaction channels.
