This is a attempt to examine the various issues & problems affecting Africa in general and Ethiopia in particular in recent time. It’s political, economic, socio-cultural aspects are very important to determine its present. Its ethnic-conflict or civil war among various groups or communities, political unrest, military coup led to continuous instability. As a result of which, food scarcity, underdevelopment, poverty, malnutrition, hunger became the natural consequences of it. What are the future possibilities? This paper tries to examine this process in the present context of Ethiopia in particular.
