Ukraine has got political and military support by the Western powers and hence the president of Ukraine has claimed some success in the on-going conflict even as thousands of Russian and Ukrainian soldiers are killed in the war. He has asserted that the country will not surrender and will push Russian army out of his country. Much against Putin’s hope and interest, Ukraine might move close to NATO. As there are no signs of end to the war, both Ukraine and Russia will suffer badly and have to pay a heavy price for generations to come.
