This paper describes forecasting methods and analyzes the possibility of their application in an air defense unit when deciding on combat actions (operations). A methodology for generating and selecting an integrated set of methods for situation forecasting in an air defense unit is proposed. Recommendations on situation forecasting in an air defense unit when deciding on combat actions are developed.
