This paper highlights certain problems concerning the development of logistics in terms of justifying the need to create a new special purpose emergency recovery and logistical support service due to the influence of new types of weapons and military and special equipment (WMSE) on tactics, operational art, and all types of support for the actions of formations, military units, and divisions in peacetime and wartime.
